Campaign Overview

CloudCusp Mailer provides three types of email campaigns:

Creating Email Campaigns

Step 1: Start Campaign

  1. Go to CloudCusp Mailer → Campaigns
  2. Click Create Campaign
  3. Select campaign type
  4. Enter campaign name
  5. Click Continue

Step 2: Write Email Content

Email Components:

Content Options:

  • Visual Editor - Drag-and-drop blocks

Step 3: Select Recipients

List Selection:

  1. Choose one or multiple lists
  2. Or create custom filter

Filtering Options:

  • Subscriber status (subscribed, pending)
  • List membership
  • Tags
  • Geographic location
  • Engagement level
  • Custom fields

Step 4: Schedule Delivery

Send Options:

  • Send Now - Immediate delivery
  • Schedule - Specific date and time
  • Recurring - Daily, weekly, monthly

Configuration:

  1. Select send method
  2. Choose date/time (if scheduled)
  3. Select timezone handling
  4. Confirm recipient count

Step 5: Review & Send

  1. Review campaign details
  2. Preview email
  3. Verify recipient count
  4. Click Send Campaign

Regular Campaigns

One-time email sends to your subscriber list.

Creating Regular Campaign

  1. Campaign Type - Select "Regular Campaign"
  2. Email Content - Write subject, preview, body
  3. Recipients - Choose list and filters
  4. Schedule - Select send now or schedule
  5. Send - Review and send

Sending Options

Send Now:

  • Emails delivered immediately
  • Background processing
  • Real-time delivery tracking

Schedule:

  • Choose specific date/time
  • Set timezone
  • Automatic sending at scheduled time

Batch Processing:

  • Configurable batch size
  • Rate limiting respected
  • Automatic retries on failure

Recurring Campaigns

Campaigns that repeat on a schedule.

Setting Up Recurring Campaign

  1. Campaign Type - Select "Recurring Campaign"
  2. Email Content - Design email
  3. Recurrence - Configure schedule:
    • Daily
    • Weekly (choose days)
    • Monthly (choose date)
  4. Duration - Set end date or count
  5. Time - Choose send time

Configuration

Frequency Options:

Daily          - Every day at specified time
Weekly         - Selected days each week
Monthly        - Same date each month

Stop Conditions:

Specific End Date   - Stop on chosen date
Number of Sends     - Stop after N sends
Manually Disable    - Stop anytime

Sequence Campaigns

Multi-email sequences with delays between sends.

Creating Sequence

  1. Campaign Type - Select "Sequence Campaign"

  2. Add Emails:

    • Email 1 (initial send)
    • Email 2 (after delay)
    • Email 3 (after delay)
    • etc.
  3. Configure Delays:

    • Time between emails (hours, days)
    • Timezone-aware timing
  4. Recipients - Choose list/filters

  5. Launch - Start sequence

Sequence Configuration

Email Steps:

  • Add multiple emails in sequence
  • Each email sent after delay
  • Full tracking per email
  • Can modify sequence while active

Delay Options:

Immediate     - Send first email now
1 Day Later   - Send 24 hours after previous
2 Days Later  - Send 48 hours after previous
1 Week Later  - Send 7 days after previous

Campaign Templates

Using Templates

  1. Go to CloudCusp Mailer → Templates
  2. Choose template
  3. Click Use Template
  4. Modify as needed
  5. Send

Available Templates

Pre-built Templates:

  • Welcome email
  • Newsletter template

  • Product announcement
  • Re-engagement email

Saving as Template

  1. Create campaign email
  2. Click Save as Template
  3. Enter template name
  4. Choose category
  5. Save

Templates can then be:

  • Reused in new campaigns
  • Shared with team
  • Modified and resaved
  • Organized by category

Campaign Analytics

During Campaign

Real-time metrics while sending:

  • Emails sent count
  • Delivery rate
  • Bounce rate
  • Current open rate
  • Current click rate

After Campaign

Complete performance data:

  • Total recipients
  • Delivered count
  • Open rate (unique)
  • Click rate
  • Click breakdown by link
  • Bounce details
  • Unsubscribe count

Detailed Reports

View comprehensive campaign statistics:

  1. Go to CloudCusp Mailer → Campaigns
  2. Click campaign name
  3. View analytics tab

Campaign Management

Editing Campaigns

Before Sending:

  • Full editing available
  • Modify all fields
  • Change recipients
  • Update schedule

After Sending:

  • Cannot edit content
  • Can view analytics
  • Can duplicate
  • Can create follow-up

Duplicating Campaign

  1. Go to CloudCusp Mailer → Campaigns
  2. Click campaign
  3. Click Duplicate
  4. Modify as needed
  5. Save

Useful for:

  • Creating similar campaigns
  • A/B testing variations
  • Template reuse

Deleting Campaign

  1. Go to campaign
  2. Click Delete
  3. Confirm deletion

Note: Analytics data is preserved.

Campaign Types

1. Regular Campaigns

One-time email campaigns sent to selected subscribers or lists at a specific time.
